This is Steve. Sometime between 3:30 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. on August 10, Steve began climbing the 58-story high Trump Tower based in New York... with suction cups.

He made it to the 21st story of the building before cops finally seized him. Police officers reportedly spent several hours attempting to stop the man while crowds eagerly watched and recorded from below. They even positioned a big inflatable for Steve to land on in case he fell.

The day before the incident, Steve, a self-proclaimed "independent researcher" and Trump supporter, posted a YouTube video explaining that he wanted to get Trump's attention to discuss an "important matter" with him privately.

"Believe me if my purpose was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it," he said in the video, referencing his plan to climb the tower. "If I had sought this by conventional means I would be much less likely to have success."

Steve was finally seized by the police at approximately 6:30 p.m. From there, he was carried out in a stretcher and taken to undergo psychiatric evaluation.

Naturally, the Internet completely lost it.

One Twitter user even created a parody account, dubbed "TrumpTowerGuysEx."

... yes, someone actually came up with that.

There was also some brief confusion when some "Supernatural" fans mistakenly believed it was Jared Padalecki who was climbing the tower.

But that was nothing. The craziness really began after the Internet caught a glimpse of this video...

... and turned it into a meme:

And there's plenty more where that came from.

It's not all fun and games, though. Others have said that the incident represents white privilege and that Steve would not have been captured alive if he wasn't white.

In other news, 2016 is cancelled because the Internet really, really needs a break. Go back to bed.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
