A Guide to Flagstaff's Coffee Shops

A Guide to Flagstaff's Coffee Shops

Coffee plays an important role in my life. I have to drink at least one cup per day in order to be a functioning human. When I moved up to Flagstaff, I was delighted to discover the various coffee shops that the city has to offer.

Here are a few that I enjoy:

Wicked AZ Coffee

Wicked AZ Coffee has the menu of Dutch Bros and the calm atmosphere of many coffee shops. The drinks are delicious and sweet; a yummy treat to wake up with.

Locations: 1080 W. Route 66, 306 E. Route 66, 2650 E. Route 66

Macy's European Coffeehouse & Bakery

Not only does Macy's have yummy coffee, it has delicious food as well. Instead of ordering a small, medium, or large coffee, customers have the option to order one, two, or three shots of espresso. Macy's is always busy, which makes it the perfect setting for people watching.

Location: 14 S Beaver St

Firecreek Coffee

Firecreek Coffee is wonderful for two reasons:

1. Great coffee

2. They support all types of artists

Their menu is wonderful, with a variety of coffee options at reasonable prices. Firecreek has a stage in the back of the shop. Musicians perform there, as well as poets. Every Wednesday night, there is a poetry slam where Northern Arizona Students are able to perform their work. Firecreek also displays art throughout the shop. This art display changes frequently so that every artist has a chance to get recognized.

Late for the Train

Late for the Train coffee shop has a menu with a variety of yummy coffee drinks. The name of the shop is funny because it is located near train tracks. Late for the Train has tables that have maps on them, creating an adorable quirky vibe.

Location: 22 E Birch Ave

Steep-Leaf Lounge

Steep sells tea instead of coffee, but it still has the same atmosphere as any other coffee shop. Steep has comfortable window seats with cute mismatched pillows. These window seats are the perfect place to sit, drink tea, relax and watch people make their way around downtown Flagstaff.
