Step one: Be insanely and obnoxiously passionate about all Cleveland sports
If you are a Cleveland sports fan, you let everyone know. You shout it from the roof tops and wear the logos on almost all of your clothes. Nothing stops a Cleveland native from showing their pride.
Whether it is opening day for the Tribe, a tailgate party in the muni lot, or still making it widely known that the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the Finals last year there is always a reason to celebrate in Cleveland. We don't let little things like snow or rain hold us back.
Step two: If a loss ever does happen, brush it off
If there is one thing Cleveland sports fans are use to it is disappointment. We have had our fair share of moments when our boys either got their butts handed to them or just missed it by a hair. This does not bring us down though. We look to the next game and next season for a better outcome. There is always next year.
Step three: Promote where you're from
This step kinda ties into the passionate step, but it is equally as important. Cleveland sports fans are not just extremely proud of their teams, but also insanely proud of their city. With great bar/ restaurants, entertainment, and so much more who wouldn't be proud of a city like this.
Step four: No matter how crazy your schedule is you try to go to at least one home game
You make time for the things you love. This is definitely true when it comes to Cleveland sports fans. Sure, you might be swamped at work or school but you can find time in your schedule for a Cavs game.
Step five: We our teams do win, we party hard
Nothing can describe the feeling a Cleveland fan gets when one of our teams takes come a victory. With a city use to disappointment we charish those wins. As seen last year after the Finals we know how to throw a good party.
