I'll be the first to admit, my life can be messy at times. I think I'm on top of everything but life spirals out of my control and just gets messy. Things start to multiply faster than I can clean them up. Start off this upcoming schoolyear a newer organized version of yourself. Here are five steps to follow to begin cleaning up your life.
1. Clean up your physical space.
A messy environment makes for a messy mind. Start by de-cluttering around your room/house. Pick a spot to focus on and do a little bit each day. You can probably start with your desk or your backpack for starters.
2. Clean up your diet.
STOP EATING LIKE CRAP! Your body and especially your skin will thank you. Start off small by incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet. Instead of reaching for that plate of french fries, try having a salad and some french fries. It is all in moderation. If you're stumped on where to start, try Pinterest.
3. Clean up your closet.
All of those unmatched socks and stretched out bras, DUMP THEM! Treat yourself to some new ones! Go through your closet and decide if you actually need your clothing items, You'd be surprised how much of your clothing you don't actually wear. Get rid of the badly damaged ones and donate the gently used items.
4. Clean up your email.
Get rid of all of that spam once and for all! Unsubscribe to all of the emails that you are no longer interested in receiving any more. Say bye-bye to cluttered inbox!
5. Clean up your social media.
Unfriend all of the people you barely know. Unfollow all of the people who make you feel bad about yourself. Get rid of all of the negative people on your social media whether it be a failed friendship or your Ex's from high school. If they're not bringing you up then they're just bringing you down.
