There comes a time when we all have a sudden realization.
We aren't as young as we used to be.
From our first breath to our first steps to the first time we took a leap of faith and jumped into our parents arms.
We've grown without realizing it.
Our lives have been a blur of friendships and schoolwork, family and sports. Everything good and bad has passed you by and what can we but, "I've lived through it all," but we all know it doesn't seem like it.
It's shocking really, it seems like just yesterday we were three years old sitting on our parents shoulders wondering what it was like to be a big kid and watching the world around us.
It's funny how we aren't kids anymore really. We are known as young adults and yet, it feels like last year we were just ten with our legs dangling off of a swing.
We were so curious, we wanted so badly to be a big kid, to grow up, but now we are and we've never wanted to go back in time more.
We still want to grow up but our hearts reminisce on our childhood, yearning to go back in time when we were just a little too naive.
I guess it's another lesson you have to learn.
There's no stopping time. You can't go back and you can't keep wishing away your future.
You have to live in the moment before it passes you by, because every day you live makes you a day older than the youngest you'll ever be.
So love without limits, cross bridges for people, stay up late and have a conversation. Live your life and love the people who may come and go. They may not be permanent but you will have left a permanent mark on their lives. Life to the fullest, build relationships, don't regret and hold onto the past but most importantly, love without limitations.
Don't let this life pass you by.
