Growing To Be A Virtuous Lady

Your dressing as a factor of your virtuousness.

As I grew up, I learnt that being a lady is a precious honor and I have decided that in this lifetime I must make good use of this rare honor. I and my friend, Damiloju wrote this article and will love to share with all ladies why it is necessary to be decent and how that can prevent so many uncalled situations.

Teach young ladies that everything covered is precious. A modestly dressed woman is like a pearl in its shell. "Women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel with modesty and self control" 2Tim 2:9.

Ladies you don't have to dress naked to get a man's attention. Real men don't like their woman dressed like she is for sale. In today's world we are being brainwashed that our beauty comes out when we dress openly and we are more noticed and recognized. People might say that, but as a virtuous lady who would love to please God and not people, you need to stand firm, dress moderately and become a great model for other females to follow. I will share some bible verses with you all and relate them to our lives as PRECIOUS JEWELS.

"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings to search out a matter." Proverbs 25:2

'As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.' Proverbs 11:22

It is quite impossible to find precious beautiful stones just anywhere, neither is it possible to find pearls on the surface of land or water; one has to dig deep to find them. It is also impossible to have academic success by being a shallow reader, you have to read deep and wide to have even academic excellence. It is quite obvious that nothing important or things considered of great value can be found just on any surface.

I wish to liken the above scenario to our bodies. Just as important and precious things shouldn't be seen just anywhere, important and private part of our body should not be seen just anywhere.

It is easy to see just ordinary ordinary stones anywhere, exposing your body parts just means you don't consider them precious.

Our bodies are God's own temple, where He dwells. The earlier we come to the realization of this fact, the better. God actually owns our bodies, we owe all to him, even our bodies. We must protect our bodies as as God's property.

If it's about getting a man's attention, a pure kind heart is enough to get a man's attention, any body's attention actually, but should we actually seek men's attention? Seek God and all will fall in place. Every woman in life is positioned for great things and your outside looks really speaks of who you really are.

Dress modestly, dress to please God, not the world.

LIVE AS A PRECIOUS PEARL!!!!!

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
