An entire year later, we had successfully read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. From that day forward I was hooked on the "Wizarding World" and the adventures of Harry and his friends. I religiously read every book, and saw every movie — I even had a Harry Potter themed birthday party (shoutout to my grandfather for dressing up as Dumbledore).
As I grew older I came to develop a deep passion for all things Hermione Granger. She was spunky, smart, quick on her feet and the exact image of the woman that I wanted to be. In short — every ounce of myself wanted to be Hermione. And I'm sure that I speak for all female HP lovers when I say that she was one heck of a role model to grow up with. So — the following are the lessons that I think we all should take from Hermione.
