Now I know I'm not the only one that feels this way but let me shed some light on this topic that is very concerning to me and a lot of other people as well. We all have our favorite TV shows and movies that they make into sequels and so on and so fourth. Now what gets me angry is when I grow attached to the characters in the show. Become emotionally invested in their lives to the point where I think I know more about them then they do. Yeah, its very weird but then all of a sudden the trailer for the next season comes out or the new movie and your favorite character has been replaced by a different. Immediately you are turned off to the show and mad at the producer for getting rid of the actor that you loved.
This happens in movies like superheroes movies where several different actors have played the same role. The problem with this is we get so used to the cast and become invested in them that when they bring a new person is its not okay. I understand the whole contract disputes or the actor or actress is getting to old so we have to replace them. NO, NO, NO thats not how it should work if they are a good actor and people like them keep them don't change them. There has been so many different people that have played Spider-Man and I'm very upset that they replaced Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, livid.
In my opinion I won't watch a film that constantly changes the lead actors and actresses and another thing is when they kill off main characters. That happens too many times, too many. It frustrates me to no end when they kill of your favorite character right as you got to know them and suddenly their gone. Now the whole dynamic is changed and you have to find another favorite but don't get to attached because they might kill them off as well.
If you have a good thing going then why change it.
