December is an interesting time for college students. Finals and the Holiday Season are both approaching at alarmingly fast rates. Unfortunately, we must conquer finals before partaking in all of the Holiday celebrations. The stress and frustration during finals week can leave us all feeling a bit like The Grinch himself. Here is finals week as told by The Grinch.

1. Trying to plan time to study when your schedule is already packed

2. Looking at your finals week schedule

3. When you realize you haven't left the library in 48 hours

4. When you still don't understand the material and your final is the following day

5. Still trying to find enough time to study...

6. That moment when you're so overwhelmed by all of the things you have to get done in one week

7. When someone distracts you while you're studying

8. When your professors tell you "good luck" before starting your exams

9. Trying to forget finals week after it's over

10. When you're finally home

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
