Ah, December! The most wonderful, and stressful time of the year.

Classes are coming to an end, and the list of assignments left to do is growing, and time is running out. Tensions are high, and emotions are out of control. As the semester comes to an end, naturally there’s going to be high-stress levels, and increased feelings of grief and emotions.

While scrolling on your Facebook, you’ve probably been seeing a lot of Stranger Things memes and reactions. Everyone in these situations have so many experiences of stress and have a tough time handling themselves in said situations.

Do you relate to any of these feelings that the ST kids felt in season 2 in your end of semester vibes?

1. Denial

I think we can all agree that we know how Joyce feelings here. This is the kind of feel when you look at your assignments for the rest of the semester and decide that you just can’t do it anymore. Nope, no way, no how, not going to happen! I’m also not getting a degree, nor am I maintaining my mental or financial stability. Thanks but no thanks!

2. Anger

We all relate to these feels that the guys have in this scene. This is how it feels when you study your butt off for a test and the questions end up being nothing that you studied. Then when you go to discuss it with your friends and you all decide to boycott the professor and riot against their grading policy. It really is that kind of anger. Don’t even try to tell me that you can’t relate.

3. Bargaining

After taking that rough test or handing in that paper that just didn’t come out the way you wanted but you really need that class for your major, that’s when you break out the pleas for mercy to your professor. You beg for an extra credit assignment, and you beg for a way to make them understand where you were coming from, and ways to get more points to boost your GPA. You’ve still got some sense of dignity, but it’s hanging on by a thread. We all feel this desperation, especially as your sanity is running low and your motivation to continue doing all your work is just as low.

4. Depression

You feel like you can’t do it anymore, and you don’t know what else to do without your brain exploding from stress, so you give in to the emotional breakdown and stress cry. You know how El feels, and you just want your mama. But the end is close in sight, and you can make it through! Don’t worry reader, you and El can both make it through this!

5. Acceptance

Will has been through a lot of stress, and has been torn apart in two different dimensions, but if he can still have a positive attitude on life then so can you. The semester may be stressful and it may be testing all your patience, but once you accept that you can make it through the tough times and you can be successful, you’ll start to feel better, and soon you’ll get to be hanging with your friends forgetting that you even had stress to begin with.

The Stranger Things cast understands your end of semester feels, because they understand grief. The semester ending can be rough, and can feel like you may not make it out alive, but if the ST kids can make it through all the drama and tests of their character, then you can make it through this semester! Don’t let the demodogs get you, and you’ll be fine!

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate.
