We've all seen the countless articles about Grey's Anatomy, and how amazing it is. From the dramatic injuries to crazy love stories and countless sister drama, the show has been an American staple for 14 seasons.
I started watching Grey's during my freshman year of college, and I got hooked. It's now three years later and I've seen every episode of the show probably 2-3 times... each.
When people ask me what I do outside of school and work and my sorority, 99% of the time you will catch me saying "watching Netflix" and by that, I definitely mean "watching Grey's Anatomy."
No, I don't watch Grey's because I'm dark and twisty. But it does allow me to forget about life for a little bit and just relax. I can laugh and cry and stop worrying about any problems I may be facing at the moment.
If I need a good laugh, I can watch Alex and Jo get married, and ultimately get stuck in a shed.
If I need to cry, I can watch the plane crash.
If I want to sing, there's an episode for that too. I can watch as the doctors try to save Callie after her accident.
I work, I study, I spend time with my friends. But at the end of the day, when I just want to relax, I sit down and watch an episode of Grey's before I go to bed.
Everyone has their own favorite show. The show that engulfs them and all of their friends know it.
To each their own, if you enjoy The Office... go watch The Office. If Friends is your thing, turn it on. But if you're a Grey's gal like I am, scrub in and join me.
