Here's What Our 6 Favorite Ex-Grey's Stars Are Doing Today

It's summertime! Which means all of our favorite shows are casting their season finale in order to take their summer break before returning to us in the fall. The most anticipated finale (and the hardest one to watch) was Shonda Rimes, "Grey's Anatomy". Rimes has already taken Mark Sloan, Derek Shepard, sweet George O'Malley and quirky Lexie Grey from our hearts. This season she decided to take longtime show-runners, Arizona Robbins and April Kepner too.

What are all of our Grey's alumni doing today after being booted from the show? I'll tell you.

1. Derek Shepard - Patrick Dempsey

After being a part of the "Grey's Anatomy" family from the very beginning, Dempsey's character was horrendously killed by the lack of competence at a hospital that was not our magical Grey-Sloan. But, what is Patrick Dempsey doing now? According to his Instragram , he is enjoying his off-screen time by doing what he loves, RACING. Could he get any more dreamy? He is also starring in the mini-series, "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair" and who can't ignore the Cigna TV Doctors of America commercial? McDreamy, please come back to us. RIP.

2. Mark Sloan - Eric Dane

Who didn't love McSteamy? He had the greatest character progression of almost anybody on the show. After leaving us sitting in the greatest disappointment of our lifetime, Eric Dane has gone on to star on the show "The Last Ship" which airs on the TNT network. The fifth and final season is set to air this summer, so start binging!

3. Addison Montgomery - Kate Walsh

After leaving formerly known Seattle Grace, Kate Walsh starred in a spin-off of Grey's called "Private Practice" which unfortunately went off the air in 2013. Currently, Kate Walsh is starring as Hannah Baker's mom in the Netflix original series, "13 Reasons Why". The second season just debuted on Netflix on May 18. You can also catch Kate Walsh with her former co-star on the Cigna TV Doctors of American commercial.

4. Cristina Yang - Sandra Oh

Cristina leaving Grey Sloan was properly worse than watching McDreamy die. Sandra Oh decided to put the blue scrubs to rest and exchange them for an ultimate adrenaline rush. Sandra Oh has stayed busy since leaving the Grey's family and has found a niche in crime shows/movies. Currently, she has received her first title role in the BBC show, "Killing Eve".

5. Lexie Gray - Chyler Leigh

Oh, Lexipedia. Lexi Grey had the most disturbing death scene in all of Grey's. We witnessed her body get impaled and heard the sounds of coyotes getting her per Cristina Yang. But, what is Chyler Leigh up to these days after the brutal plane crash? She's starring as a kickass older sister in The CW's show, "Supergirl". She stars alongside Glee alum, Melissa Benoist. If you've never seen it, you can catch every season and all the episode via Netflix.

6. George O'Malley - T.R. Knight

Rest in peace, Bambi. T.R. Knight has stayed significantly busy since leaving Shonda Land. He has had recurring roles on multiple TV shows through out the years. He starred in "Law & Order: SUV", "The Good Wife" and played a dangerously frightening abusive husband in the Hulu mini series, "11.22.63". Since then, T.R. Knight made his way back into Shonda Land by acting in her show, "The Catch". Currently, he is starring in the National Geographic series, "Genius".

I do not know about you, but I am seeing a "Grey's Anatomy" Netflix binge in the near future so I can see all of my favorite doctors's on screen together again. Hopefully, Shonda Rimes will stop tearing out our hearts and let our surgeons live in happiness.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
