Greenwich Letterpress describes itself as "not your average stationary store." It's a shop that specializes in unique stationary, but has a variety of cards, cute enamel pins, and an array of gifts, from scented erasers to calendars.

If you've ever wanted to see inside every sci-fi/fantasy lovers mind, head to Forbidden Planet. I took my suitemate to show her the abundance of Marvel comics, tshirts, and merchandise, and will never forget the look on her face.

Carmine Street Comics is a great destination for any comic book lovers. While you could just go to a bookstore, this shop offers a much wider variety.

5. Strand Books
The Strand is nothing like your typical Barnes and Noble. Any book lover would be speechless at the stacks of books and apparel located on the four floors of this bookstore! They proudly boast of their rare book collection, but also offer $1-$5 books and literature of any genre. If you can't find the book you want, they will order it in for you!

Three Lives & Company is a small bookstore that carries a well-curated collection of books. Three Lives considers their bookstore not a store, but a "living space." There staff is very knowledgable and are sure to find you the perfect gift.

Buffalo Exchange is a thrift store for vintage and used clothing! This store is an easy way to find the clothing items at a friendlier price. Like most consignment shops, it can be a hunt to find the perfect piece, but it always feels worth it.
