Green Light, Go For it

Transmitting good vibes is important in a society where none exist.

Good Vibes: noun. Vibes are the emotional signals a person gives out to those around them with their body language and social interactions. An example of good vibes is a happy person smiling and having a positive effect on those around them.

This is an important feature to display in a society surrounded by negativity and chaos. Being able to demonstrate Good Vibes rather than to just claim your understanding of the word are two complete different things.

In order to establish Good Vibes, one must accept the difficulties of life and triumph, helping those who struggle along the way. One must show others, as well as themselves, the light that exists in the chaos of reality. One must learn to grow from mistakes rather than allow those failures to devour the goodness and confidence that exists within Man.

It is easy to become submissive to failure, or become weak when confronted with the dark chaos that surrounds us all.

The presentation of Good Vibes is dependent on the executioner who claims to know its true power. People misuse the word by assuming it's just some easy way to portray yourself as some hippie, saying that's more of a trend now in this dull society. Plus, being a hippie isn't solely based on looks itself, but the way of thinking of that individual and their perspective on the life that exists around them. It is not a trend, nor is it a way to claim that you are a good person and "woke".

You cannot claim yourself to be something, or someone, you are not, nor can you claim that you believe in things that you do not fully understand because it is just slang or trend.

Practice what you preach yourself to be, or you are no better than the rest of ignorant society.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
