This is a hard one... that's what she said.

"The Office" And "Parks And Rec" Square Off In The Mockumentary Showdown Of The Century
Hollywood.com

It's the ultimate showdown. NBC TV superstar vs NBC TV superstar. Both shows are loaded with witty words, legendary love stories, and comical characters. And after spending hours upon hours re-watching these two shows, I believe the time has come for me to lend my expert opinion and settle this debate once and for all. Without further ado, here's "The Office" vs. "Parks and Rec"

World's Best Boss vs The Boss Lady

Let me first start this off by saying Leslie Knope is seriously one of a kind. Anybody who can consume that many waffles is a hero in my eyes. Plus, she's the most passionately spastic person on the show. You can't not respect her. With that said, Michael Gary Scott is a legend. No greater one liner's have ever been uttered by any other character ever. I'm afraid of how much I love him.

Winner: The Office

Andy vs Andy

It's the battle of the Andy's! Can I just say that in my dream world, Andy Bernard would collab with Mouse Rat on their next album. Seriously, how awesome would that be?! Ultimately, this battle comes down to the fact that The Office Andy is lovably annoying for a decent part of the series while Parks and Rec Andy is lovably adorable. Also, he didn't punch a hole in a wall and have to go to anger management...

Winner: Parks and Rec

Pam and Jim vs Andy and April

I very much enjoyed both of these couple's journeys. I absolutely would want to go on a double date with April and Andy. But come on, you can't beat PB & J. Jim's fight from the friend-zone to his wedding day is ultimate #goals.

Winner: The Office

Karen Philippelli vs Ann Perkins

Ann Perkins, even if she wasn't a beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox, would still win this for the sole fact she didn't date Jim and almost ruin the most perfect soulmates to ever grace the television screen. (Also, how #blessed is Rashida Jones to have been able to work with BOTH these amazing casts?!)

Winner: Parks and Rec

Scranton vs Pawnee

I'm gonna have to give this one to Scranton for the sole fact that its citizens (besides the Scranton Strangler) aren't terrible people who try destroying all of Leslie Knope's hopes and dreams.

Winner: The Office

Ryan's business ideas vs Tom's business ideas

These two completely embody the American entrepreneurial spirit. Tom gets my vote though because while both Wuphf.com and Entertainment 720 failed miserably, Tom's endless stream of creative ideas never fails to make me laugh.

Winner: Park's and Rec

Stanley's Attitude vs Chris' Attitude

Considering Stanley lives his whole life for "Pretzel Day" while Chris runs 25 miles daily, Stanley and his sass are going to win this one for simply being way more relatable. Did I stutter?!

Winner: The Office

Dwight Shrute's Survival Skills vs Ron Swanson's Survival Skills

"Bears. Beats. Battle Star Galactic." vs "Bacon." It's a tough call between these two iconic characters, but Ron's mustache just does it for me.

Winner: Parks and Rec

Toby vs Jerry

OH GOD PLEASE NO. NO. NOOOOO. DON'T MAKE ME COMPARE THESE TWO TERRIBLE PEOPLE. ONE HAD A FART ATTACK! THE OTHER MAKES ME WANT TO SMASH HIS FACE!

Winner: Neither. Wanna hear a lie? I think these two are great.

So? Which is better? Drum roll please...

Let me first say that I am fully aware that I am cutting this list short. I could go on for days comparing these two fabulous shows. Ultimately though, if you were going to hold a gun to my head (and not use it to shoot Toby twice) and make me chose, I would have to say...

Winner: The Office

Sorry Parks and Rec die-hards. While I will always have a special place in my heart for Leslie Knope and gang, I firmly believe that there is not a better character than Michael Scott. I still cry laughing every time I watch the beginning of "Stress Relief" and tear up at final moments of "Goodbye Michael." I will never grow tired of binge-watching the employees of Dunder Mifflin for as long as I a live.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
