Finals are right around the corner and this is something all college and high school students never look forward to. But finals has got me thinking about how fortunate I am to have had the teachers I did in high school that were able to help me get to where I am right now, college.
I’ve struggled in school ever since I was in second grade and its been a really hard fought battle but I’ve won it and I wouldn't have been able to get through it without the help of some amazing teachers.
Being a teacher isn't an easy job. They don’t get paid much and they sometimes have to deal with some awful kids, but I think the best part about it, is being able to truly change a students life and I was lucky enough to have some teachers like this.
I want to take a moment and thank these teachers for everything they’ve done for me.
Thank you for always teaching me something new.
Thank you for being enthusiastic about your teaching and making it fun to go to class even when I was having a bad day.
Thank you for always holding me accountable to everything.
Thank you for making school actually enjoyable for me for the first time in forever.
Thank you for challenging me.
Thank you for helping me get prepared for college.
Most importantly, thank you for believing in me.
