You know the ways to my heart.

My doubts, my insecurities, my fears,

You trump them all.


Your love for me as deep as an ocean,

As high as a mountain and everything in between.

You have shown me what love is and what love can be.

Never would I have taken a chance on someone like you,

But you have shown me there is no one like you.


Though the distance may seem unbearable,

Love fills where the distance is.

The only distance is the distance that we create for ourselves.

Life used to be helpless without you,

But with you all hope has been revealed to me.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
