Coming home from college for the summer isn't always that exciting because you have to leave behind the whole life you've known for the past 8 months to return to your pre-college life. But after being home for a few months and preparing to leave again, I've realized that there are actually some great things about being home that I'll miss when I go back to school.

1) You get to see your boyfriend or girlfriend and/or friends from home

2) There's always a fridge and pantry full of food

3) You can cuddle with your pets again and whenever you want

4) Sleeping in your own comfortable bed as opposed to a rock-hard twin mattress

5) Seeing your family whenever you want

6) Going to your favorite restaurants in and around your hometown

7) Experiencing mom and dad's cooking (which you probably value more after eating cafeteria food)

8) Getting spoiled because your time with your family is limited

9) Hanging out with your siblings (even though you may sometimes claim to hate them)

10) No class!

11) You can thoroughly enjoy all of the wonderful things of summer like swimming, camping, and bonfires before heading back to your hectic college life

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
