Picture this: It is winter break, you are back at home sitting on your parent's couch while your parents are cooking your favorite meal. The one thing missing is... choosing the right show to binge watch. With the semester over, you now have free time to catch up on some shows or to actually start watching the ones you've been putting off. Fret no more! I am going to list shows you should definitely binge watch over winter break.

1. "Sabrina: The Teenage Witch"

Now, who remembers this awesome show? "Sabrina: The Teenage Witch" is a show that was inspired by a comic book with the same name published by Archie's Comics. The show is about a teen who discovers that she is a half-witch on her sixteenth birthday. Throughout the series, we see how Sabrina learns how to balance a mortal life and witch life. I absolutely love this show, it is a must see always. Now streaming on Hulu!

2. "Younger"

"Younger" is so addicting and leaves you wanting more. It is about a woman named Liza who goes through a divorce. After her divorce, she decides to start working again and unfortunately, she wasn't getting hired because she hasn't worked in 15 years I think. So she comes with a plan to seem younger than she really is. This show is absolutely fabulous. The cast on this show is great and it features a fan favorite...Hilary Duff! Don't we love her? "Younger" is now streaming on Hulu.

3. "Gossip Girl"

So I know we all know who Gossip Girl is, but "Gossip Girl" is the best show to watch. It is my go-to binge watching show since it has ended. Every time I watch this show, I discover something new. Like all the clues to who was Gossip Girl was there all the time. Just keep your eyes peeled for obvious clues. Now streaming on Netflix.

4. "The Ranch"

"The Ranch" is a good show for if you like "That 70's Show." "The Ranch" has our favorite actors; Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson. The show is about a family running their family business. Colt Bennet who is played by Ashton comes home after his semi-pro football career fell through. Rooster Bennet who is played by Danny is the older brother with the slick comebacks and funny remarks. The show is quite entertaining and they also bring some of our good old friends from the "70's." Check it out on Netflix.

5."Boy Meets World"

I honestly believe that 90's sitcoms are the best. No other show can compare to "Boy Meets World," not even its "Girl Meets World" reboot. "Boy Meets World" was filled with real-life scenarios that touched you immensely. With each episode, you either laugh, cry, or end up loving the characters even more. Cory and Shawn the OG bromance, they were the best of friends. Cory and Topanga, they are the reason I pretty much believe in love. They are the perfect couple, even though they had a few bumps in their relationship they still made it. And then there is Eric, the cool big brother with the best humor. If Eric wasn't on the show I think it would've flopped. "Boy Meets World" is a show we all know and love. And if you haven't seen this show, now you can all seasons are now streaming on Hulu.

HAPPY STREAMING!

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
