1. The Committed Pig- Manasquan, NJ

I chose this restaurant as the first one, because in my opinion, it's the best. I have never loved breakfast as much as I do if it were not for this place. Their unique combination of ingredients makes for a great brunch. Between cookie dough pancakes, Nutella pancakes, cream cheese avocado pork roll egg and cheese, one-eyed Pete, to the simple eggs and home fries, you cannot go wrong. Fun fact: I didn't go for a year because they took Nutella French toast off the menu. It is THAT good.

2. Uncle Dood’s Donuts- Toms River, NJ

Before being rated Best Donut in New Jersey, Uncle Dood’s was a constant go to when I was in the mood for a good donut. Their ability to constantly serve fresh and warm donuts with a bit of a crunch, dipped in the glaze of your choosing, has become a huge success. Between the the Cina-doodle, topped with cream cheese icing and caramel drizzle; the Vermont swine, with maple icing and bacon pieces, and the Bed Rockin', with vanilla icing with Fruity Pebbles, and my personal favorite- a replication of the Samoa Girl Scout cookie.

3. Mariner's Cove- Manasquan, NJ

Now, before you make your decision not to wait the forty-minutes, keep in mind how good of a breakfast you will be waiting for. This small, rustic, friendly establishment has every thing on a menu you could ever ask for… literally. Their abundance of omelet options, sweet breakfast options, and sandwiches may seem overwhelming, but if you take a chance to look for something you would like, you will not be disappointed. Their portions are enough for two meals so you’re able to enjoy it twice!

4. Meemom's Kitchen- Wall, NJ

If you are looking for delectable, unique, and sweet- you’ve come to the right place. A restaurant famous for their French toast, it will not disappoint. Between the Cap’n Crunch, Campfire, and Crazy Monkey, you’ll love every bite of it. I have been there on numerous occasions and have never left there unhappy. I would highly recommend stopping in for breakfast if you are ever in the Wall area. Whether it’s for coffee, French toast, or some type of eggs, you will be more than satisfied.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
