If you are new to Trine University here is a list for you. This list will be informing you of some area college student-friendly restaurants. All, of course, have WiFi and reasonable prices.

1. We Hop

This restaurant is definitely worth some notice. It hosts a great variety of food, and for those of us 21 and older alcoholic beverages. The prices are reasonable and the quality of food is excellent. Also We Hop hosts entertainers, so your food comes with some good quality performances as well. Not to mention their in house gift shop.

2. Buffalo Wild Wings

This restaurant makes the list because of its collegiate atmosphere as well as its delicious wings. B-dubs also hosts a variety of alcoholic beverages and many televisions on which to watch your favorite teams compete.

3. Timbers Steakhouse and Seafood

This spot is excellent for date night. It hosts some of the classic date night essentials like lobster, or steak as well as alcoholic beverages. Timbers also offers the option of a salad bar and a friendly atmosphere.

4. Mad Anthony’s Lakeview Alehouse and Reception Hall

As stated in the name this restaurant does carry a large amount of alcoholic beverages. Yet also can be enjoyed by those of you who do not drink. Mad Ant’s has a large variety of great quality food. This spot also hosts a great view of the scenic Lake James.

5. Club Paradise

Last but definitely not Least is Club Paradise. This restaurant as all of the others has alcoholic beverages. If you are in the mood for some kick butt burgers. Club Paradise is a good place for you. They host a large variety of burgers, steak, wings, and much much more. Plus some great pizza.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
