Half cat, half woman
―fully naked.
Comfortable in its natural habitat
―Grandma’s arm
.Orange and black ink,
Once vibrant; now faded, dull.
Year after year dimming, distorting
―breasts sagging with age
.Wrinkles folding her visage,
hiding her dark eyes.
Once wild and reckless,
forced to be tamed with time.
I watch that cat woman now,
―twitching and writhing
.I grasp her hand, keep it warm,
rub the frail skin with my thumb.
Hold it until she stays still
―until it all stops
.
