I love my grandma!

My grandma is an amazing woman, from the earliest time that I can remember, I remember by grandma always being in the picture. My grandma helped my Mom raise me once my Dad left and she's truly taken his place and done a better job than he could have done. My grandma taught me how to cook and how to be a mannerly person. My mom worked 8-5 when I was growing up, so my grandma was always the person who was picking me up from school and taking care of me until my mom got off of work. As soon as she got off of work, she came to pick me up from school. She did this from first grade until my sophomore year of high school.

After school, she would sit me at the table with a bottle of water and a snack and help me with my homework. We would make dinner after I finished my homework. She would teach me how to make homemade biscuits or scratch fried chicken. Now I know how to cook meals for my family thanks to my grandma.

My grandma also taught me how to be a good person. My grandma has a sweet soul and always puts others before herself. She has played a big part in creating the woman that I am today and I'm so thankful for her.
