Wow.
That's about the only word I'm able to muster up about this glorious store. If you're looking for great deals and just about anything from pajamas, home decor, makeup, blouses, and jeans, then Primark is the place to be.
Well, I was looking for a lot of these things and a reason to go because Primark is highly popular in Europe and I watch British YouTuber's all day, everyday. So when I heard about a Primark coming to a location near me, I prepared for the grand opening.
The grand opening of Primark was July 16th at 11 a.m. at Freehold Raceway Mall in New Jersey. It had it's own entrance, and a very cute, simplistic blue neon sign for the store title. As soon as you enter, they have displays and the shopping bags to go around and put your stuff in were HUGE. I guess they know that once you enter Primark, you pretty much will end up filling the entire bag.
They had humongous displays for makeup products and bits and bobs. The prices were in an incredible range as well. I found an eye shadow palette for smokey eye makeup to be $6.00 and you can't get a big palette for a good price like that anywhere else! It's about the same size as the Chocolate Palette by Too Faced as Sephora, but the only difference is my eye shadow palette wasn't $50!
A lot of my clothes and shoes ranged in prices, but all still leaving me to want it all. There were shoes going for $20 highest. Just about anywhere else the most outrageous, yet normal shoe price would be $40. My clothing items ranged from $7 to $11 which is a lot better than the usual $24. The sizing of the items could be a bit confusing at first, if you're like me and only look for S, M, L, XL, etc. They do their sizing with numbers, because I guess that's how it is in Europe, but once you figure out that a 2-4 is a small, a 6-8 is a medium, and so on, you're good to go! A lot of the products are cotton as well, so getting a size up won't be a problem because it will most likely shrink in the wash anyway.
The home decor section was another favorite part of mine. I bought plenty of good, sturdy decor items from $2-$7. They had bed sets, pillows, candles (for $0.90, woah!), and cute little things to hang up on the wall that shouted inspiration.
Everywhere you turn there's a check out station. They're just ready for you, because they know you're not leaving without at least something. I left with three bags and the paper bags ended up breaking on me because that's how much stuff I had. So I got a plastic bag eventually, and even those handles couldn't keep up with my purchases.
When it came time to pay the employees talk to you almost as if you guys didn't just meet. They're so friendly, and did I mention that they have employees spread out among the store in case you need help? Oh, I needed help because I couldn't handle the amazing prices on all of items.
Check out went so quick even with the amount of stuff I had and get this, Primark gets a shipment of new items every day. That's right. EVERY. DAY.
Will I be going back to Primark? Yes, indeed I will. It was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. If you're ever in need of beautiful clothes or makeup or home decor, head on over to Primark if you want to leave with a ton of stuff with under less than $100 for your total.
