Last year, my roommate and I began watching the new series "Quantico" and were quickly blessed by the gift that is Graham Rogers. Soon, we found him on social media and were blessed yet again, this time, by his love for his dog Chuck.

This fluffy little beast is Chuck. Graham and Chuck are perfect examples of why everyone needs a dog in their life, and here are just a few reasons why:

1. You'll always have a friend to laugh with

I mean, I can't see through all that hair to tell if Chuck is having a great time as well, but he probably is.

2. You'll gain a new family member

Pictured here with his sister, Graham and Chuck seem to be absolutely loving life. Everyone in this photo is smiling. PURE HAPPINESS ALL AROUND.

3. Naps are better when you have someone to share them with

LOOK AT THAT FACE. HE IS SO SLEEPY. Dog naps are honestly the best kind of nap and the best type of bonding you can do with an animal.

4. You'll finally have someone to be a diva with that won't judge you

A dog will never judge you, it's great. Drop a piece of food on the floor and then eat it? Dogs won't care, they specifically enjoy food dropped on the floor. Sat at home all day watching Netflix? Your dog doesn't care, extra cuddle time for him.

5. You can teach them party tricks

Do you see that? That is pure trust between a man and his dog, Chuck knows Graham won't drop him. It's a beautiful bond.

6. Dogs make great travel heaters during the winter months

Don't have a winter coat? No problem just bring your little buddy along for the ride.

7. Dogs are easily transported

Many shops and restaurants allow dogs inside, so why not bring them?

8. You can take as many selfies as you want with them and they can't say no

This may be my favorite thing about animal companionship.
