Graduation day, a day you have been thinking about for the past four years. For some, they are ready to get things over with, but for others, it is a very bittersweet day. All around, though I think it is a day of excitement for everyone. The following GIFs by "Friends" accurately depict how graduation day is.

The night before graduation when you lay in your bed and realize you are graduating tomorrow and it feels like the night before Christmas.

When you have the early graduation so you have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get ready.

You hate to get up early, but then you realize it is GRADUATION DAY!!!!

Next, you arrive at the place where you are graduating and have to stand for at least an hour. The whole time you are standing in line you are thinking why did I choose to wear these heels?

You soon forget about your shoes and start to realize how fast this day really came.

Next thing you know you, pomp and circumstance is playing and you realize that the time has come to walk in and to graduate.

You are now sitting in an auditorium or building, surrounded by your friends and classmates and you realize how much you are going to miss them!

The speeches have finished and now it is the moment everyone has been waiting for, they are starting to call names. You walk up to the stage and they say your name and it is one of the most exciting moments ever!

All the names have been called and you have officially graduated! You walk outside into a sea of people to find your family and friends. If you are like me you felt like you were 5 years old and had lost your mom in the grocery store.

You finally find everyone and now the photo shoot begins. After all the pictures and excitement dies down you say goodbye to your friends and it is a really sad moment because you love them so much! It is OK though because you know you will see them at graduation parties tonight.

Finally, comes one of the best parts, graduation parties! Where you will receive gifts and eat amazing food to your hearts content!

Congratulations to the class of 2016, we did it!!! All of our hard work has paid off, now go out and celebrate!!!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
