Now that it has come to the end of February, lets talk about ex's one last time! As I was scrolling through my new's app, I came across Nick Lutz story in Cosmopolitan. His ex wrote him a very long apology letter where she admits to taking the blame for the end of their relationship and Lutz reaction to this was very uncommon, he pulled out a red pen and graded it before he send it back to her.
No one has ever done this before! Usually people would react by either calling their ex, ripping the letter into pieces, or putting them on blast through social media between friends and family. Nick took it to the next level by making his story viral, and oh boy! He exposed his ex through social media big time! The internet blasted when he posted the letter and his revisions on Twitter. According to Cosmopolitan there were over 99,000 and 299,000 likes.
He filled every page with notes and giving her a grade of a D-, a 61/100, and went along writing, "Long intro, short conclusion, short hypothesis but nothing to back it up. Details are important, if you want to be believed, back it up with proof. You claim that cheating never occurred but place blame on yourself - then what for? Need to stop contradicting your own story and pick a side. While this gesture is appreciated I would prefer details over statements. Revision for half credit will be accepted." If anyone could go back in time to do this to their ex, I believe more than half of America would.
Some of the comments in reply to Nick's grading was stating that he wasn't mean enough. Some ex's have more rage than others, Lutz doesn't come off as that type of ex. For instance, he took his time to read the letter, to comment on certain parts of it, and then decided on a grade to signify his level of accepting her apology.
Lutz comes out as the type of ex who seeks for closure. His last comments to his ex was, " While this gesture is appreciated I would prefer details over statements. Revisions for half credit will be accepted." By him saying this he is expecting to receive another letter from his ex, which is another uncommon thing an ex would request considering if the breakup was a bad one it is like he is leaving an open door.
On the other hand, by revising her letter he probably made her feel low about herself considering that what she was seeking for was for him to accept her apology and he made it more than clear that it wasn't good enough. If anyone had the opportunity to do this kind of revenge on their ex, heart breaks could probably be healed.
