If Gossip Girls Characters Were Actual College Students

"Gossip Girl" is one of those television shows that almost every girl in America has seen and loved. These people lived extravagant lives that were way more interesting than ours. However, their college careers, for the most part, were very fleeting, and not described in much detail. Here are the roles that our favorite characters would have in a regular state college.

1. Nate Archibald: SGA President

Nate has that certain charm, wisdom, and the social connections that could for sure win him the position of Student Government President.

2. Blair Waldorf: Sorority President

Blair also has the potential to be a President, but she enjoys having her pack of gal pals behind her. This would make her likely to scheme her way to the top of a sorority social hierarchy.

3. Serena Van Der Woodsen: Sorority Social Chair

Serena is a fun-loving girl and she's always attending great parties. She seems to know everyone and is practically famous, so she would be the perfect party planner.

4. Dorota: Resident Assistant/Advisor

Dorota is caring and organized, but she's still a lot more relatable than a parent. This would make her a great RA.

5. Chuck Bass: Frat boy

I couldn't see Chuck leading the pack, but when it comes to frat parties, you know he'd be the one trying to woo every girl there.

6. Jenny Humphrey: Fashion student

This one's pretty self explanatory. She would probably also be involved with some sort of club that has to do with her fashion major.

7. Dan Humphrey: School newspaper

Everyone's favorite "Lonely Boy" sure loves to write, so he would definitely be a writer for his school's newspaper.

8. Georgina Sparks: Has been in almost every club once

Georgina had some major personality changes throughout the show. She went from mean, party girl to sweet, Christian girl, and then back to evil girl, but with a baby. Throughout this time, she would have joined and quit many different clubs that aligned with her personality of the day.

9. Ivy Dickens: Theatre student

In "Gossip Girl," it was said that Ivy was an actress at some point, but her stellar job impersonating Charlie, and then later fooling Rufus into loving her, shows that she does have some serious acting skills.

10. Vanessa Abrams: School Broadcasting Team and Art Club member

Vanessa's passion for filming and her artsy, bohemian style would make her a perfect fit for these aspects of college.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
