'Gossip Girl': Your Next Netflix Binge Worthy Show

If you can't find a new series to watch because you're still balling your eyes out after One Tree Hill, then Gossip Girl is definitely for you! Life in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NY is completely different from the life in Central Arkansas.

The show is narrated by the unknown, infamous blogger, Gossip Girl. She begins and ends every episode with the latest gossip. Her target is Manhattan's Elite: Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Nate Archibald, and Chuck Bass. Some include Dan Humphrey in Manhattan's Elite and some do not.

"Xoxo, Gossip Girl"

Serena and Blair are what you call "best frenemies" because they consider themselves best friends, but when it comes down to it they will do whatever it takes to destroy each other. Nate and Chuck are the only two who have a genuine friendship throughout the entire series. Serena struggles with daddy issues by using her body to attract the wrong men. Blair struggles with confidence by forcing everyone to bow down to her as Queen B. Nate struggles with actual family issues, and tries his best to resolve them in a genuine manner. Chuck has an unhealthy lust for women because he struggles to get his one true love. Dan struggles with fitting into the Upper East Side society. He's willing to do whatever it takes to fit in.

Gossip Girl swoops in to report the hourly mistakes and imperfections of Manhattan's Elite. The goal of the show is for not only the characters to find out who Gossip Girl is, but for us to find out first!

On a 5 star rating scale, I would give this show 4.5/5.Gossip Girl isn't for everyone, but it has an addictive plot that makes it hard to turn off. If this show is for you, you will find yourself at 3:00 am with crusty eyes whispering, "Just one more episode and I'll turn it off." 6 Seasons full of laughter and drama. You'll laugh, cry, scream, and possibly throw your laptop, but it's worth it!

If you liked One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, 90210, and Pretty Little Liars then you'll love Gossip Girl!!!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
