10 Reasons You'll Never Get Over "Gossip Girl"

So apparently everyone started watching "Gossip Girl" quite some time back. I am new to the Netflix world and started "Gossip Girl" this past summer because everyone in the world seemed to freak out when I said I had never seen it. I started it around mid-July and finished the last season this past month and all I can say is: I get it. I understand the obsession, I understand why people freaked out, I get it. If you haven't seen "Gossip Girl" and are hesitant to start it, I've created a list of reasons you should.

1. Every character is beautiful.

Literally all of them. Stunning.

2. Their lifestyle is literally something you only see on TV.

Bars, clubs, never ever going to classes and still managing to get accepted to Dartmouth, Yale, Brown & Columbia? Also, is everyone going to ignore the fact they are always drinking fancy martinis and champagne and the entire cast is under 21?

3. Dorota, reason enough to watch the show.

She is kind, she is patient, she is honest. She is everything you could ever want in a maid/friend.

4. Blair and Serena's friendship.

I could go for a best friend to casually take trips to Paris with.

5. They always seem to have each other's back.

Lets be real, if anyone messed with your friends like that, you'd hit them too.

6. Chuck's transformation from a slimy perverted teen to a polished mature man.

Season 1 vs. Season 6

7. Serena's relationship with Dan, so many ups and downs.

One minute Serena has no idea who he is, then they're in love, then they are step siblings, then they're in love again?

8. The outfits, wow.

This is exactly how teenagers dress nowadays.

9. Georgina Sparks and her shenanigans.

Do we love her? Do we hate her? We will never know.

10. Chuck and Blair's relationship.

*tears*

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
