8 Times Gordon Ramsay Was Absolutely Iconic

In This Article:

For those who do not know who Gordon Ramsay is, let me give you an overview of him. Gordon Ramsay is a British chef who left behind his athletic career to become a renowned chef in London. In the early 2000s, he was making a big mark on British television as he had his shows such as "Kitchen Nightmares" and "Hell's Kitchen," which transitioned well to American audiences. Since then, an award-winning chef has expanded his celebrity brand via other television programs such as "Masterchef" and "Hotel Hell" and continuing to open more restaurants across the globe.

It was until this week I had gotten into watching those shows that he is in. As I was watching them, it made me think of the various iconic moments that he has had on the show. Therefore, I present to you the times that Gordon Ramsay was absolutely iconic on television.

1. When he had a tough decision to make.

2. When he saw through the contestant's lies.

3. When he was motivating someone to do better.

4. When he called someone this.

5. When the kitchen was hot.

6. When he said this.

7. When his son was asked to do an impression of him and he was so proud.

8. When he said this in a skit.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
