As college students across the country begin to pack and move into their dorms, there's the realization that summer is officially coming to an end. Late night bonfires, going on trips with friends, creating memories that you'll tell your roommates about later, all the best parts about summer slowly slipping away. Luckily, when one door opens, another one opens! Here is just a small list of everything to look forward to now that summer is coming to an end.
1. Styles Change
With Fall just around the corner, we all know what's to come. For guys that means comfy tops, athletic leisure pants, and looking like they walked straight out of a magazine.
For girls that means long sleeves, sweatshirts, leggings, and cute boots. Who else is excited for comfortable and fashionable outfits?
2. Pumpkin Everything
Pumpkin candles, pumpkin spiced lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin everything! All of it is finally going to be in season. Do I need to say more?
3. Apple Picking
One of the most exciting activities to do with friends and family is to go apple picking. Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Gala, Honey Crisp, and so much more! While going apple picking you can even go on a hayride!
4. Leaves Changing
What's better than seeing all the leaves change everywhere you look? The best is when you see the first group of leaves change by your window in the morning.
5. Halloween is coming!
This is something I'm very, very, very excited for. Aren't you? Looking back at all the movies that recently came out, who's ready to see a large amount of Harley Quinns, Jokers, Deadpools, and basically anyone from a popular movie that can be cosplayed. The best part is it's a whole night to party and be dressed as anyone you want to be for a night. Definitely something to look forward to!
These were just five of the many amazing activities and events to forward to these next couple months. Don't forget, Christmas will be here before you know it! So even though summer is coming to an end, just know there are so many activities and changes to look forward to. So goodbye summer and hello autumn!
