Goodbye Autumn, Hello Holiday Nails

There is nothing better than looking good because you know that you look good. Having awesome nails always gives you a confidence boost. Whether it is glitter, polka dots, or leopard print, looking down and seeing nails that make you smile is always something to brighten your day. After Thanksgiving the holiday rush is in full swing and the time to show your festivity is here! To celebrate, here are ten of my favorite holiday themed nail designs for the talented, steady handed, or just anyone who wants to give them a try.

Reindeer, because who doesn't love those guys! Whether your favorite is Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, or Rudolph, you have room for them all! (On two hands of course!)

If you have a sweet tooth, candy canes may be more your style! The simplicity of red and white stripes is a classic and sweet way to get into the holiday spirit, and it can be done using tape to create stripes.

If you want to keep things more classy, with a little glitter fun of course, try a glitter gradient! It's easily done with a small piece of sponge or simple layers of glitter concentrated at the end of your nails. You can use basically any color combination and even layer different colors of glitter for a more colorful look.

If you aren't as steady-handed, know that polka dot nails are an easy alternative to an intricate design! You can use a pin head, toothpick, or anything with a small, round point and mix up with colors to create a polka dot gradient.

If you love winter for the glittering snow, then these nails will give you a wintry fix. Using nail stickers or stencils, these snowflakes could be simple and beautiful! Adding some extra glitter or even small nail jewels will make your nails into even more of a statement.

If your favorite part of the holidays is decorating, then these small striped ornaments are just for you! With adorable little bows, these nails are girly and can go with any colors that your heart desires! Do them up with a rainbow or with glitter to add a little extra sparkle to your day.

If you are a fan of ugly holiday sweaters (like me!) then these nails are just calling your name! Although they're very intricate, the time will pay off and people will have some major nail envy about these beauties.

So, go out there and get creative! Whether you're doing them yourself or having a friend help you get the perfect design, these nails are sure to be a showstopper. Great nails make you feel great and nothing makes you feel like you will ace that final like looking down at some nail masterpieces.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
