Dear Mr. Trump,
Good luck, Mr. Trump. The future of this country rests decidedly in your hands. I hope with all that I have that you will change this country for the better and improve our nation with your presidency. I hope that you will represent the America that I know and love, and that all of those who oppose you will not get their way in having you do a poor job. I hope that you prove the opposition wrong and are the best president America could ask for. Please, for the sake of our nation, do a good job.
Sincerely,
A citizen of the US
It has been decided, and Donald J. Trump will be our next President. All around, there is an outcry rising against this news from those who oppose him. Protests, disbelief, and fear. People looking for loopholes, demanding alternative options to the candidate who was elected by their country. I say, whether or not he was your choice, you must at least accept this outcome. Predicting a horrible four years is one step towards a self-fulfilling prophecy. The worse we think it will be, the worse we will make it. I wholeheartedly believe that you get out of life what you put in. In this case, I believe that we need to stand together now as citizens and a nation more than ever and create a united, loving country—not in spite of, but because of our future president.
I am not a Trump supporter. But I think we all need to support America and each other in the coming four years.
