3 Reasons Why You Should See 'Barbershop 3'

While the actual name of the film is "Barbershop: The Next Cut" most fans would agree that that Barbershop 3 is easier to remember. The film came after a 12-year hiatus in the plot which allowed characters to age and have other changes in lifestyle over time. The films in the trilogy prior to this one included lots of comedy and life lessons, however, there are three important reasons to go see this installment in the trilogy

1.There's a star-studded cast.

Nicki Minaj, Common, and Anthony Davis are the three more notable new characters that are highly known in the entertainment world. Cedric The Entertainer and Ice Cube make their returns as do other stars such as Eve. Fans of past movies will love the jokes and barbershop atmosphere along with the cast features rappers, athletes, and legendary comedians.

2. The movie has real life lessons.

One character named Raja in the film brings up the issues in the black community and the eerie fact that there has never been a better time for black people living in America. Common's character touches on the issues surrounding real people that have died such as Trayvon Martin, Eric Gardner, Sandra Bland, and Tamir Rice. Other lessons from the film deal with infidelity, stereotypes of black people, and violence in the community.

3. It's a movie that the family can enjoy together.

With the exception of a few slightly insensitive jokes that the kids won't get anyways, the film is family friendly and something that people from many age groups and ethnic backgrounds can get a good laugh from.

These reasons alone should be enough to get you to go see this movie but if you're still not convinced go watch the trailer. This movie is a must see.

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
