We have all seen the new hair style men have been sporting here recently: the man bun. Yes, some men can successfully rock the man bun. However, some can not.
The man bun has been seen on everyone from Harry Styles to John Luke Robertson, and has made its way across the internet and Instagram. Heck, there is even a hashtag for the hairstyle.
Not only are these famous men showing of their man buns, but guys around campus and in everyday life are also doing this hairstyle.
But why? Why do men think that man buns are suitable? And what makes them appealing?
Lets admit it, on some men it's EXTREMELY attractive; however, in my opinion, I would rather my boyfriend not have one. Buns are usually a woman's hair style, am I correct?
Lets not forget to give a shout out to the person who made the account on Instagram @manbunsofdisneyland (man buns of Disneyland). They seriously post pictures of attractive men with man buns at Disneyland. I mean, why not post pictures of random people at Disneyland with man buns?
So are man buns really bad? A lot of people have different opinions on the man bun. Sure, some guys have nasty hair and it makes their man buns not very appealing. Personally, I think that if it looks neat it's fine. Men cannot pull off messy buns like us ladies can. Additionally, they really only look good on men with well kept facial hair.
However, there are many pros and cons on the man bun discussion. Everyone has their opinions, and not everyone agrees with how you think.
So go on with your bad selves guys, and flaunt your man buns!
Just remember though, everything can be taken too far!
