There are so many wonderful things that happen when your older sister moves out, but there are also other not so good things when your older sister moves out. Most younger sisters have dreamed about the day they don't have to worry about their older sister always tormenting them every second of their life. I know I did. As we grew older we grew closer. Here are 9 good and bad things that happen when your older sister moves out.

1. You lose your best friend.

We hated each other most of our lives and here we finally become close and actually love each other. She decides to move out. And she doesn't move to a house across town. She moves to an apartment in another state an hour and a half away.

2. You loose your closet.

Sisters always share clothes and it's always the younger sister stealing the older sisters clothes. Until she moves out and your closet is startling empty.

Your shoes. Pretty much your entire wardrobe disappears.

3. You have an empty bedroom across the hall.

Face it who wants to wake up in the morning and step out of their room to see their sisters room completely empty with no bed or anything but your own junk you don't want in your room.

4. You hardly get to see her.

Y'alls schedules never line up and it is incredibly hard to line them up. When you finally think you have time for a two-hour drive and it ends up not working.

5. You think it's your time to be the favorite. Lol nope still not the favorite.

Your parents claim they don’t have a favorite but everyone who knows your family knows she is the favorite.

THE PLUS SIDE.

6. You have a bathroom to yourself for the first time in 18 years!

This is legendary now you only have to clean up after yourself.

7. You have a home away from home. A tiny vacation.

You have a weekend getaway house. you can go and spend the weekend with her if you ever get the same days off!

8. You have two beautiful niece cats and nephew cats. My sweet babies Ella and Olo.

9. Lastly, you know that since she moved out that she is pursuing her dreams and you know it is for the best.

You know she's growing into the amazing, incredible, beautiful woman that you have always known her to be! And you are so proud of the woman that she has become!

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
