Going to the gym is a dreadful task that no one really wants to do. But, if you are like me then you too are trying to avoid the dreaded freshman fifteen.
So in light of this, it’s important that we make an effort to work out. Now as a chubby girl, I already hate going to the gym because I constantly feel like all the other hotter, more in shape, people in the gym are staring at me. Now you may see this as me just being conceded but it’s true. And the only thing more annoying than feeling uncomfortable at the gym is being uncomfortable at the gym while a stick skinny super model is walking on the treadmill in front of you like she’s walking the runway during fashion week.
You have all seen this girl at least once at the gym. She comes in with her matching sports bra and yoga pants. She has a full face of makeup and her skin is golden brown even though it’s colder than the Alaskan tundras outside. This girl comes to the gym for like ten minutes and then leaves without even breaking a sweat.
Meanwhile I am over here on the elliptical with thirteen gallons of sweat covering my body, and the machines (sorry). I look like I am having a heart attack after three minutes of cardio and these b*t**es are on the treadmill and are dryer than a motherf***er and their highlight is still on point. Now I’m not trying to judge these girls by any means. All I want to know is how you manage to look hot while working out. I pretty much standardly look like a beluga whale out of the water.
So come on help a sista out and give me your secrets. I'll do what ever it takes to be even mildly good-looking while at the gym. I mean anything, sacrifice, murder, even money. No, but really all jokes aside I'm really proud of all those who even make an effort to go to the gym and work out. So whether you're a soft-in-the-middle like me or a hard-as-a-rock like the others at the gym it's okay. Keep doing you, boo boo.
