Going To The Gym

There are so many possibilities.

Going To The Gym

Going to the gym can be a difficult thing. You have to be motivated to go. If you are not motivated, it can be hard to go, especially if you live far away. If you live closer, it is easier to get to the gym by car or by walking.

Going to the gym with a buddy can motivate you the most. They can push you to do better. You and your friend can make each other want to do more. Finding a friend who will work out with you can be a struggle, but after you do, it can be great.

When I was in high school, I went to the gym, but I did not like going. When I got there, it was OK, but I was not motivated to go, so I hardly went. It was not my favorite pastime. So after a while, my membership to the gym was canceled. Although this summer I decided to go back to the gym and now I like going.

There are so many things you can do at the gym. There are lots of cardio machines, ab machines, arms and legs machines. You can do all of them: arm workout one day, legs the next and cardio and abs the following day. That would be a great way to do all of the machines.

I like going to the different machines every time; of course, I have the same machines I go on regularly, but I like going to different ones also.

There are always great ways you should go to the gym, such as: losing weight, getting exercise and making you feel better. People like to feel good about themselves, so they like to look good, so they go to the gym.

The reason I think I didn’t like the gym in high school is because I thought people would judge me for what I was doing, so it wasn’t fun for me, but now I don’t care if people are judging me for what I’m doing. Everyone is just concerned about what they are doing. There are lots more machines I like now also.

Going to the gym can help you get your mind off things. It can help clear your mind of everything. You can just put music in your ears and zone out and go to a place that is good for you.

The only thing that bothers me about the gym is the people who just sit on the machines and do nothing or doing something on their phone like talking or texting. It is amazing how many of those people are there at the gym.

It is a great thing going to the gym. You get to get your mind off things, you can lose some weight and you may get a new perspective on things after you leave the gym. I am glad I got back to the gym to help me out in life. Everyone goes to the gym for their own personal reason, and they should be extremely proud of themselves.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
