As New Year celebrations end, many college students either yearn or loathe the start of Spring semester. Many students are excited to go back to see their friends, but they are also very sad because they have to start being an adult again.

Eating. Sleeping. That's your usual routine. Don't lie. You tried to be productive, but that didn't work out.

It finally hits you that you have a few days left before you have to leave for college. So you have to pack five months worth of clothes for the winter, spring, and summer. It's the worst.

The sadness starts to kick in about the last day because you won't see your family for a while, you won't have the comforts of home in your horrible dorm room, and you have to eat five months worth of cafeteria food. Ew.

Finally, it is time to leave your home and drive really far to get to your college. You hope to dear God that everything fits in the car.

During the car ride, you have multiple anxiety attacks because of school. So you have to remind yourself that you are fine and that summer is almost here. Jokes.

Once you arrive on campus, you have to unload the car, unpack your belongings, and get accustomed to your dorm. Again.

However, you feel better because you see your friends! Basically the best day of your life.

First day of school is here. You wake up on time, you have all your textbooks, and you eat a good "healthy" breakfast. You are ready for class.

Once class starts, you realize your teacher is amazing. But, at the end of class, the teacher gives you an assignment on the first day of class. Oh what a great day.

So after you get back to your dorm, you sulk and do your homework. You finish just in time to go to a back to school party with your besties!

You have so much fun at the party. You even meet a cute guy! You decide that maybe this semester might not be so bad after all.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
