Going Back To School As Told By 'Bridesmaids'

Time is slowly winding down, and it's almost time to head back to our home away from home. One by one, your friends start heading back to school and your turn is next. There are so many things going through your mind leading up to move-in day, and the girls from "Bridesmaids" can help to explain it.

1. You're finally going back to school!

You're nervous and excited, but ready to start a new semester.

2. Saying goodbye to your people.

Saying goodbye to your friends is hard, but saying goodbye to your dogs is harder.

3. Realizing you're broke.

Somehow all the hours you spent working instead of at the beach didn't pay off.

4. It is also back to the college diet.

Back to the ramen noodles, popcorn and dollar slices because we're on a budget and have no idea how to cook.

5. Back to roommates.

We love our roommates, but hate not having alone time.

6. Maybe this is the semester you'll make a move on your crush?

You've had your heart set on someone since freshman year and maybe this time he'll finally notice you.

7. You're so ready for syllabus week.

The best time of the year, when classes are easy and you party every night.

8. But then you have to start classes.

You can't even pay attention at work when you're getting paid and now you're expected to sit through class.

9. And you have to actually start studying.

When syllabus week comes to an end it is time to start hitting the books... or not.

10. So you have a terrible meltdown, and unfortunately it won't be the last.

Life can get a little stressful sometimes; there's no doubt about it.

11. But going on break for the first time is always something to look forward to.

Going home and spending time with your family and old friends can never be a really bad thing.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
