I haven't written in a while and decided I'd start it up again so here we are.. It's my senior year of college and the only thought that continue to goes through my head is how stressful it is and how much I just want to graduate.

Honestly the only thing getting me through this next eight months is a couple bible verses I have always liked.

One of them and probably my most favorite is "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. This verse is Jeremiah 29:11, I really took a liking to this verse just because no matter what happens in my life or even in this last year of college God has a plan for my future and isn't going to let me fail this thing called life.

Another verse that is with me with this last year is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This verse is Philippians 4:13. This has always been one of my favorite verses through out my life/school just because like I said above God is always here for me no matter what and also because no matter how bad life is he strengthens me. I could be having the most horrible day and then I realize that God is here and listening to me, whether I want to cry or I want to just vent to him he's there.

Always remember that no matter what you are going through is God's word is powerful!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
