When dealing with anxiety, it can feel like a dark voice is following you, pointing out all your insecurities, doubts, and worries. You feel so overwhelmed and unsettled within yourself. Anxiety, no matter how big or small, can make you feel like you are in a lonely battle. But God is constantly with you and is constantly fighting foryou.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:6-7
God does not want His children to suffer. Your suffering does reach His ears and His heart. It hurts Him to see His children suffering. To believe in God, you must believe in the devil. Where there is goodness, there is evil. The enemy does not want your belongings or your money; He wants your faith, your heart, and your peace. He wants to consume all of what is pure.
But when you cling to God, you are defeating what the enemy does not want you to have. He does not want joy, peace, love or understanding. God’s love is stronger than anything else in the world. By releasing your anxiety, your stress, and your worries to Him, you become stronger, knowing that you are not fighting your battles alone. So often, anxiety stems from believing that you have to figure out your problems and stresses alone and all at once, but God is with you and He will comfort you.
“Cast all of your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
Pray to God to grant you peace and understanding. Know that the strength within yourself and your heart for God is stronger than anything or anyone pulling you down. Give all your fears and worries to God. He will allow you to blossom into the strong, faithful woman that you are meant to be. Just breathe, pray and know that God is always fighting with you.
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
