Before we head any further, take a moment to celebrate the fact thatyou have survived another semester!

This is no small accomplishment and you deserve to revel in your success. Regardless if you have completed your first semester of college or your last, you have put forth quite a bit of effort to be where you are today. Allow yourself to be proud of these moments and consider where these lessons have taken you.

But, while you are reflecting on the past few months and every crazy, wonderful, and sometimes terrible moment, be sure to also consider who supported you throughout this time. Of course, this means the friends, family, and other mentors who built up your support system, but we cannot forget who was there during it all.

Remember the nights you were frustrated as you studied into the wee morning hours? Or, the times you were upset because you did not achieve the grade you expected on an assignment or exam? Who consoled you and promised there would be a better tomorrow? He did.

Remember the days where it felt as if everyone was against you? You felt as though there was barely enough time to breathe, to complete all of your tasks and care for yourself appropriately. Who reminded you that you have the ability to accomplish anything you set your mind to? He did.

Remember how it felt when you overcame the obstacles of last semester? No matter how minor they ended up being, you experienced valid emotions over exasperating situations. Who knew and encouraged you that these struggles would pass?

God was with you every step of this semester. He was there to help you through the inevitable tribulations. He was there when you felt completely alone. And, He is here now to remind you what an incredible being you are. God loves you in every state of your life. No matter what emotions you are experiencing, He is with you.

Once again, congratulations on your success this semester. Your efforts have been noticed by the one who is always there.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
