Going away to college could be one of the biggest blessings you’d ever been given. When deciding whether or not to go to your local county college or going somewhere totally out of your comfort zone, turn to God to find your answer.
You have amazing friends, a boyfriend, and a family who are all behind you on whatever decision you decided to make.
You have gotten to a point where you find yourself having mental breakdowns every night, for you are not good at making decisions that could affect your whole future.
It scares you that the wrong move could mess up the rest of your life.
One night as you are driving around town again having another mental breakdown, you decided to contact the only one who knew what was best for you: God.
You have prayed that He would help lead you to the right decision for not only your future but your mental health as well. Within minutes, He answered the one question you have been asking everyone else but Him.
Your first couple of months at school have been nothing but a good experience and it was welcomed by people who have made you a better person. You surrounded yourself with good vibes.
You noticed that God lead you here to show you that the people that you once thought were your friends really weren’t good friends at all. In the matter of all these miracles happening around you, you forgot where they all came from.
It’s easy to get so caught up in life when everything around you is going so perfectly.
We often forget who to thank for all these blessings that have been given to us, and then we find ourselves thanking the Lord for all He has put us through.
Because even if He didn’t give us all the shitty situations, we would never realize all the golden ones He has given us.
What I am trying to tell you is that it's okay to get caught up in the moments that feel perfect, but don’t forget about the one man who has lead you there.
God chose to lead you here for a reason; thank Him for that.
At the end of the day when you're going to bed thankful for all you are surrounded by and loving the new home He has given you, He is the one to thank and to love.
