If you have never heard of the blonde badass Tomi Lahren, you're missing out.
Tomi is a conservative Republican who, at 23 years old, is saying what all Republican women wish they could say on television. Her show "Tomi," which is on TheBlaze network, is my nightly go to at 8 p.m.
Tomi will tell you how it is and doesn't have any shame in her game. Here are a few reasons why I love Tomi Lahren.
Her Beyoncé rant made Tomi the real Queen Bee.
Beyonce and her dance crew dressed up as the Black Panthers for the Super Bowl halftime show, and Tomi made it clear that Beyonce used fame to make us aware of the Black Lives Matter movement more. "Well, guess what Beyonce? White people like your music, too, white people buy your song on iTunes, memorize your lyrics and admire your talent and beauty. Little white girls want to be like you just as little black girls do, but instead of recognizing that, you would rather perpetuate the great battle of the races." Tomi couldn't have said it better. When will we all realize that all lives matter? Your life matters just as much as mine does. I don't want to one day raise my children in a world where they think that someone else's life matters more than theirs does.
Feminists will never speak for her, especially Hillary Clinton.
"The Pantsuit Princess" is how Tomi refers to Hillary on her show. Tomi believes that a man opening a car door for her is completely fine, and she knows that the man knows she is capable of opening her own door, but it is a nice gesture. "Why go out of our way to prove we don't need men?" Tomi says. "Ever ask a feminist or a Hillary supporter why should she be president? Most likely the answer is she's an inspiration." Yes, Hillary is a woman running for president, but wake up, people. Let's face it -- all women are not going to get paid equally. We have to earn those rights. Tomi was from a small town and followed her dreams and worked really hard to get where she was. There are plenty of men that are underpaid, men that are raped, and men that are discriminated against, but most of that isn't recognized in the media. We should be more focused on respect for everyone, male or female.
She believes in protecting herself with a gun because gun rights are our rights.
Guns do not fire themselves; someone pulls the trigger. Tomi says, "Cops and guns aren't killing the children. Your children are killing each other with guns, so there is a big problem here, and taking my gun isn't going to change a dang thing." Personally, I believe that in today's world we need guns to feel safe. Tomi makes it clear that it will be a "cold day in hell" before anyone takes away her Second Amendment rights. Amen, sister!
She loved to cause a little trouble with her liberal professors in college.
Being a journalism major with all liberal professors is something that makes me dread going to class on a daily basis. Although I am sure that my fellow classmates love to hear me debate with my professors to take up class time, I go home in fear that my grades will be determined because of my political views. Tomi says it better than anyone on how to deal with this problem: "These tolerant libs are pretty intolerant... I got where I am today because I'm not afraid to speak up, I wasn't going to sit back and listen to these academics spew their liberal crap for the rest of the class to soak in." Tomi says to call out your professors on issues they speak about with a smile on your face and respect in your voice. After all, they can feel free to disagree.
She always ends her show with "God bless you, and God bless America."
Because the highest power will continue to bless us as a country. He proved that all lives matter when He sacrificed His son to die for our sins.
