2017 is finally here and I have never been more excited. The Lord is going to work in some amazing ways this year. God revealed to me the importance of asking for what you want. The Bible says "You have not because you ask not." I have been praying for what I want to get out of this new chapter of my life, and what my goals for 2017 will be.
To Be Confident.
To be confident, one of the most beautiful things the Lord can give you. To have the confidence in yourself and your abilities, confidence that God will provide for you, and confidence to stand for what you believe in even if that means you will stand alone.
To Be Content.
I believe this plays a role in the goal of being confident. Being content with where the Lord has you at this moment. Being content with being alone. If you are always looking for the next best thing and always on the move, you may never see what God is doing in your life and what he is trying to show you right now.
To Be Stronger.
After a year like 2016, I feel like all I have left is my strength that the Lord has given me. Remember that God is in control and stand firm in his promises. Be stronger in your faith the God will always proved for you.
To Be Encouraged.
In 2017, surround yourself with only encouragement. Pray for the lord to continue to encourage you to pursue Him with your whole heart. Encourage yourself grow with the Lord in your prayer life. Set the goal to live a healthier and happier life this year.
To Be Joyful.
The JOY of the Lord is our strength. Our hearts desire a joy that can only come from heaven. 2017 is going to be a year of joy and an abundance of His love.
To Be The Light.
The bible says that the World will know the Lords disciples because of their love and their light. My main goal is to use the confidence, contentment, strength, encouragement, and joy to be a vessel for the Lord. 2017 will be the year I let God wreck my heart and I was his light in this world.
No matter what 2017 may hold, never forget that God is in complete control and his love never stops pursuing our hearts.
