Go Ahead Ed. "Divide" My Feelings.

Being the Sheeran-er (not a thing, but totally should be!) I am, of course I bought the deluxe edition, so I'll be going through every song, telling you which ones I hate and which ones absolutely tear my heart apart.

If you've talked to me for even five minutes about the type of music I like, I pretty much say with certainty that I have expressed my love for Ed Sheeran. Ugh.. The man is truly a musical genius. That is no different on his latest CD. In fact, I could argue that it is one of the more emotionally crushing albums I own. Being the Sheeran-er (not a thing, but totally should be) I am, of course I bought the deluxe edition, so I'll be going through every song, telling you which ones I hate and which ones absolutely tear my heart apart.

1."Eraser"

This song isn't my absolute favorite on the album. If we're being honest, it's probably one of my least favorite, but I do like some of what it is saying. We all have to find the "eraser" in our lives to ease our pain.

2."Castle on the Hill"

This song speaks of some childhood memories which makes me think of specific memories from my own childhood. A good reminiscent song.

3."Dive"

This song is one of my favorites. I've had a handful of experiences where I've questioned the authenticity of those saying lovely things to me. This song makes me think of those times and how much farther and better I've come since those times.

Also, really don't use lovely words to go back and bark with your bite. It only hurts and cause a rip in the universe.

4."Shape of You"

Ugh. This song is not the typical Ed Sheeran song at all, and I don't care for it. Sure, it's catchy, but I prefer his slower, sweeter things than what typically plays on the radio.

5."Perfect"

This will be my first dance song one day. I'm sure of that. Beyond gorgeous.

6."Galway Girl"

Easily my favorite song on the entire album. Super catchy and can pick me up at any time of the day.

7."Happier"

This song will completely shatter all of your emotionally well being, but listen to it. It's amazing. This song reminded me of Avery at a point in our relationship.

8."New Man"

Also definitely not a typical Ed Sheeran song, but it cracks me up. Probably shouldn't because it's about a girl's new guy who clearly isn't keeping her happy because she's still hung up on her ex, and he's still into her.

9."Hearts Don't Break Around Here"

This song makes me want to strive for that kind of love.

10."What Do I Know?"

This song screams my life verse to love everyone beyond sin.

11."How Would You Feel (Paean)"

This is another one of those emotional, heart wrenching songs that you just can't help but listen to.

12."Supermarket Flowers"

I could cry every time I hear this song, but it's phenomenal.

13."Barcelona"

Another one of my favorite songs. It's incredibly catchy, and one of those songs that can make anyone have a better day.

14."Bibia Be Ye Ye"

An incredibly catchy song, although I'm not sure I understand what it means.

15."Nancy Mulligan"

This song is the love story of Ed Sheeran's grandparents. Of course I'm a sap for this.

16."Save Myself"

Just going to emotionally kill you, and I'm not sure it's worth it.

So there you have it! All my opinions on the new Ed Sheeran album. No matter what type of music you're into, I think you should at least give this a good YouTube search.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
