At least once a week, my friends send me some kind of meme or quote from Tina Belcher in "Bob’s Burgers." The text or tag always includes, “Tina, this is you.” Ironic that my name is even Tina, right? So, I decided to do some research on this popular Tina character.

For those of you who don’t know, "Bob’s Burgers" airs on FOX on Sunday nights. It is an animated sitcom that focuses on the Belcher family — Bob, Linda and their children Tina, Gene and Louise. The family lives in an apartment above their restaurant, in which they struggle with, on Ocean Avenue. You have to watch a few episodes to understand the characters and get the vibe of the show. They are loving, supportive, silly, sarcastic and more.

But let’s cut to the chase. How do I relate to Tina Belcher? Well, that’s easy…

1. Typically, I am a quiet person but when I do decide to say something, people think it’s off the wall or flat out hilarious.

2. I am great at being socially awkward.

It’s actually one of the first things people notice about me. I can start having a conversation with someone and when it’s over, my friend next to me will say, “Tina, you’re so awkward.” Question marks just start to appear above my head because during that whole three-minute conversation, I thought I was being pretty normal.

3. I was not blessed with dancing skills.

Not even the rocking your hips move. You’ll find me hiding in the corner of the room doing the sprinkler-literally.

4. Flirting is not in the cards for me.

5. I might be a little too honest with others.

I’m not afraid to tell it how it is, even if the sweater that says “just killin it” is your favorite to sweater.

6. I am so sarcastic that people start to believe I am low key being serious.

I might be?

7. I do not know how to be girly.

Recently, I was getting ready for a concert and I put eye shadow on my lips, thinking it was lipstick. Not to mention, my sisters are always telling me to dress up and put a little oomph in my hair.

8. Am I still confident when approaching others?

YAAAAS. Am I sassy and funny while doing so? YAAAAS.

Tina might be a teenager, but she is definitely my spirit animal.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
