8 Expensive Gluten-Free Foods That Are ACTUALLY Worth The Cost For Days You Just Need Carbs

Yes, I know, another gluten-related article. But you gotta write what ya know, right? Anyways, it's no secret gluten-free foods are expensive, and strictly buying gluten-free prepackaged meals can really put a dent in your wallet.

So I thought I can give some insight into what gluten-free foods you should avoid, to save your appetite and money.

1. Caulipower Pizza

Hands down the best-frozen pizza I've ever tried. Its made from cauliflower which is a plus because it's not made from bland rice flour or corn. It's very flavorful and doesn't taste like cardboard.

I recommend the Margarita pizza, however they also sell plain crusts so you can build your own.

2. Annie's Mac and Cheese

Annie's Mac and Cheese slaps. However, don't confuse this box with Annie's Deluxe Mac and Cheese, because its nasty and not the same. Annie's isn't as gas as Kraft or Velveeta but all in all its pretty solid.

Just follow the directions on the box, and add butter. (I also add tony's and hot sauce but you don't have to do that)

3. Synder's Gluten-Free Pretzels

Even if you're not gluten-free, stop buying regular pretzels.

These are 1000 times better, trust me. I personally don't like the twists as much as the sticks but it's whatever.

4. Canyon Bagels

These bagels taste like the real thing. There was a time where I would go through two bags a week. They're pretty dense which isn't something you would normally find in gluten-free breads and I think that's what makes them so good.

I find that they taste better lightly toasted with cream cheese or as a breakfast sandwich.

5. Krusteaz Bluberry Muffins

This isn't ready-made. however, I could not skip it on this list. These muffins are delicious and not dry and crumbly. Plus they make your whole house smell like Heaven.

My siblings and I love it when we can have them for breakfast because it's something different from the regular eggs and bacon.

6. Tate's Gluten-Free Cookies

That's it. That's the tweet.

7. Barilla Gluten Free Pastas

Barilla makes the best gluten-free pasta. It's not grainy or mushy and when it's al dente, it's perfect. I really like the penne or farfalle pasta but there's so much variety, you can be confident each one tastes as good as the last.

8. Udi's French Baguette

Listen, Udi's is the worst. Don't buy Udi's, you'll be disappointed every time. However, their french baguette? GAS. It tastes so much like the real thing I was shocked the first time I ate it.

It's worth all your money trust me, just don't buy anything else from Udi's.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
